Evaluation and Admissions: Provides assessment and referral services twenty-four hours a day for mental health crises. Eastside Psychiatric Hospital (24 bed): Provides short-term comprehensive psychiatric inpatient
treatment for persons experiencing an acute mental health crisis. PATH Crisis Stabilization Unit (28 bed): Provides short-term inpatient stabilization services for persons
experiencing a mental health crisis. Primary Care Center Detox Unit (12 bed): Provides short-term medically-supervised alcohol and drug detoxification, assessment, education and referral. Madison Group Home Residential Facility (16 bed): Provides a 24-hour supervised, structured residential placement for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Programming includes psychiatric treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, nursing and case management. Satellite Apartments (16 bed): Provides placement and lease management coordination for adults with severe and persistent mental illness in need of transitional living arrangements. Programing includes psychiatric treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, nursing, and case management, with an emphasis on employment. Leon County (16 bed) & Gadsden County (16 bed): Provides a 24-hour supervised, structured residential placement for adult males with severe and persistent mental illness with legal system involvment. Programming includes competency restoration, court liason services, legal advocacy, psychiatric treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, nursing, and coordination with appropriate agencies (DCF, courts, other Districts) for transition into independent living. FACT: Florida Assertive Community Treatment Program provides intensive community-based therapy, rehabilitation and supportive services for persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Majority of service interventions are provided off-site (e.g., recipient's home, place of work, etc.). Recovery Teams: Established in each county, services are aimed at supporting self-directed recovery for persons experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. Co-occurring disorder treatment services are available for individuals diagnosed with both a mental illness and substance use disorder. Psychiatric Services: Psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for Apalachee clients receiving outpatient or community support services. Psychosocial Rehabilitation: Provides structured rehabilitation and socialization activities for persons with long-term mental illness. SAFE: In-home community based wrap-around services for children and adolescents at risk for psychiatric hospitalization. Outpatient Counseling: Individual, family and group therapy on a limited basis in select programs / counties. Community Forensic Services: Assessment, medication management, case management and competency restoration services provided to individuals in the jail, who have court involvement or are on probation and parole. Homeless Project: The Homeless Project provides outreach, mental health case management, and psychiatric /medication management services for homeless persons with severe mental illness. Drop-In Center: The Drop-In Center offers a community meeting place for present or former consumers of mental health services and their families. Focus is on self-help with social, recreational, and support activities.
