Perhaps it's the grandfather who has lost the love of his life and whose grief remains inconsolable even after many seasons; the parents who worry every day about what's going to happen to their adult son who has schizophrenia; or the young mother who is has tormented memories of childhood abuse that are only held at bay when she is drinking or high on drugs. The suffering and pain of our family and friends is something that we all feel. We are in this together.
